The purpose of the Project is to strengthen the internal capacities of the Omega software company for IRI, through cooperation with ZIO on the development of the LEDA URBAN MX3 smart lamp, which will ensure the necessary prerequisites for the commercialization of the developed product and the growth of the Company’s sales on the domestic and foreign markets.

Introduction of ISO 14001 and ISO 17025 management systems

Short description of the project:
Omega software Ltd. is a company that has been operating in the field of computer programming since 2001, and in 2015, with the aim of risk dispersion and business expansion, it started the production of LED lighting fixtures.
In 2019, the company applied to the public invitation of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts “Introduction of business process and quality management system (ISO and similar standards)” with the project “Introduction of management system ISO 14001 and ISO 17025”.
Omega software Ltd. started the implementation of the Project in September 2019 as a Beneficiary of the European Fund for Regional Development. The goal of the Project, through investment focused on the application of ISO 14001 and ISO 17025 standards, is to reach the level of quality standards of the management system and increase the ability to prove the quality of the system, which will contribute to the trust of customers and provide the necessary prerequisites for increasing sales on domestic and foreign markets.

Goals and expected results of the project:
The purpose of the Omega software project is to reach the level of quality standards of the management system and increase the ability to prove the quality of the system, through investment aimed at the application of ISO 14001 and ISO 17025 standards, which will contribute to the trust of customers and provide the necessary prerequisites for increasing sales on the domestic and foreign markets. With the project, the Applicant will solve the problem of not having the accreditation of the test lightometric laboratory, thereby proving that it is professionally and technically qualified to work in accordance with internationally accepted rules and non-compliance of the production process with the requirements of environmental management, which will facilitate the placement of products and services on the market, i.e. ultimately strengthen its competitiveness.

Development of an open smart network of energy-efficient LED lighting

Short description of the Project:
Omega software Ltd. is an IT company that started the production of LED lighting fixtures in 2015 for risk dispersion and business expansion.
2017. the company applied to the public call “Increasing the development of new products and services resulting from research and development activities” (reference code: KK.01.2.1.01) of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts with the project “Development of an open smart network of energy-efficient LED lighting”.
After signing the Agreement on the allocation of grants within the framework of the public call Omega software Ltd. started the implementation of the Project in September 2018 as a Beneficiary of the European Fund for Regional Development. began the implementation of the Project. The goal of the project is to increase the investment in research and development in order to develop a smart LED public lighting system through cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science to enable the strengthening of the company’s capacity for research, development, and innovation of new products and services.

Goals and expected results of the Project:
The project will result in the development of smart, energy-efficient, interconnected public lighting and a versatile public lighting system that will be a platform for the establishment of a smart city. The project will contain innovative solutions for the public lighting system. Thanks to the innovation, the lighting system will have more advanced performance than existing ones that use the same technology. The product will be a novelty in the company’s offer. The expected results of the project are the internationalization of business, increased competitiveness and income, and the creation of new jobs. The project has an exceptionally positive impact on the environment, as the application of the solution will reduce the impact of CO2 emissions, unnecessary radiation from base stations, unnecessary heat emission from standard light bulbs, light pollution, and a reduction in electricity consumption.
