Omega software Ltd. attaches importance to the protection of the personal data of our users (respondents). The privacy protection policy governs the way of handling information that Omega software Ltd. processes or collects when our website is visited. This Privacy Policy provides information about which of your data we collect, what we use it for, and to whom we transfer it. For this reason, we advise you to read this Privacy Policy in order to familiarize yourself with the way your personal data is processed.
The terms “Omega software” or “Omega” or “us” or “we” refer to the trading company Omega software Ltd. for IT services and trade, with headquarters in Zagreb, Kamenarka 37, PID 40102169932, MBS 080402064.
The term “You” refers to a natural person who is a user of our services or whose personal data we process during the provision of our services.
The term “processor” refers to a natural or legal person who, alone or in cooperation with others, determines the purpose and method of processing personal data and who is responsible for processing such data in accordance with applicable European and national regulations for the protection of personal data.
Using our services, with regard to the processing of your personal data, we will sometimes be in the role of the data controller, and in cases where we process your personal data for the purpose and in the manner determined by our business partners and/or users, we will be in the role of the executor of the personal data processing. In the context of its core business, when providing IT and other services to third parties, Omega software is most often in the role of the processor.
The term “personal data” refers to any information about you based on which it is possible to identify you, directly or indirectly.

1. DATA WE COLLECT (AND HOW)
- JOB CANDIDATES – when you apply for a position; send us an open request
- USERS – when you use our services;
- POTENTIAL USERS – when you visit our website and sign up to get information about a specific service, and/or request direct contact with us;
This Policy applies to all websites owned by Omega, primarily the website www.omega-software.hr, but also other websites such as www.ledaled.hr
Visiting the mentioned websites is anonymous, and data processing can occur if and when you decide to do so, i.e. by leaving your data or other information in a message that site visitors can send to us via the contact form. Omega uses the aforementioned data exclusively for the purpose of responding to your inquiry, comment, or proposal.
In addition to the data you choose to share with us, Omega collects certain data automatically, using web analytics tools and using cookies, i.e. Google Analytics. Google Analytics enables the collection of data such as IP address, Internet browser, operating system, and the number and behavior of visitors to our pages. The data that the system collects is listed as an example. These are statistical data that do not allow the identification of visitors and are collected for the purposes of internal analysis and system administration. In any case, if you want to prevent your behavior from being tracked, most internet browsers allow a certain degree of control over their use in their settings.
Our websites may refer you to other websites that are not owned or controlled by Omega. If you come into contact with the mentioned sites, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the privacy policies and rules of the owners of those sites.
JOB CANDIDATES
We collect your personal data when you apply to our job ads, send a job application, and attach a resume to our website.
We collcet the following personal data: name, surname, contact information, information on education, previous work experience, residential address, or other information that you decide to provide or share with us.
We collect and process personal data based on the consent you gave us when applying for a job or sending your resume.
We use various job search platforms and resume databases to search for potential candidates. For this purpose, we process the personal data that you have shared on the aforementioned platforms and databases.
We also collect data from third parties or publicly available sources (recommendations from former employers, mentors, associates, or your profiles on social networks (e.g. LinkedIn) (legitimate interest of Omega).
Your personal data is processed by authorized Omega software members who will use it to contact you when a new position opens.
USERS AND POTENTIAL USERS
We collect and process your personal data if you use our services.
For this purpose, we collect personal data that relate to your relationship with Omega software, such as your first and last name and/or contact data (e-mail, contact telephone number, mobile phone number, address and information about payment, VAT identification number).
The collection and processing of this data are necessary in order for us to be able to provide you with our services smoothly or to be able to fulfill our obligations from the existing business relationship.
We collect your data when you contact us as a potential user, visit our website/websites, ask us an inquiry and/or request related to a certain type of service, or contact us with some other inquiry or request. We also collect your data in case we organize certain workshops in order to expand the network of our users or offer our services. For the aforementioned purposes, we also collect your personal data through platforms, such as LinkedIn, where you have made your personal data public.
When we process you as a user and/or potential user, we use all of your personal data to enable access to our services, provide technical support, provide you with additional information about our services, improve the business relationship, and realize the rights and obligations arising from the business relationship concluded with the user.
Personal data collected for the stated purposes are not used for other purposes, except in the case when there is another legal basis for their processing (e.g. your consent).
When providing services to our users, we process the personal data of individuals at the request of the user exclusively to provide our services. This can be personal data of employees of our users or end users of our users, data that our users have given us as a service provider access to and authorized certain employees of Omega software to access the systems where your data is stored. Exactly which data the user provides to Omega software to perform certain of our services is determined and monitored by the user, and the same also determines which organizational, procedural, and other measures we, as a provider of certain services, should take to protect personal data. In accordance with the above, Omega software processes the previously mentioned data as a processor, while the user is the manager of personal data processing.
If we receive data about individuals from our users in order to be able to provide our services to the users concerned, we process such data solely for the purposes specified by the users and at their request.
To provide our services, we may use some subcontractors who cooperate in the provision of our services or otherwise have access to data stored on our platform, and in this case, we should take care of and maintain an up-to-date list of subcontractors.
Regardless of the above, we do not transfer the data or information we received from you during the use of our services to third parties, except when it is necessary, i.e. we transfer them if required by:
- Applicable regulations: If required by law, we will share the user’s personal data with such third parties who are legally authorized to request it, such as in the case of criminal proceedings or threats to public safety;
- Targeted advertising: We do not sell or share and will not sell or share with third parties any information for advertising or other marketing purposes. However, we may use direct marketing through Google Ads for our own purposes.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
Omega has implemented the ISO 27001 system. We implement technical, organizational, and security measures to protect your data from loss, unauthorized access, and misuse. The aforementioned includes the implementation of storage and processing method checks and physical security measures that protect our systems from unauthorized access.
In addition, access to personal information and data is limited to individual employees of Omega and employees of our suppliers who are obliged to comply with contractual obligations on confidentiality and data processing, and we conclude special contracts for the protection of personal data with our users and suppliers.
VISITORS
Omega implements certain measures necessary for the security of the building and the office premises in the building, which measures include video surveillance and control of access to the building and office premises.
The purposes of data processing in the context of video surveillance and building access control are security reasons for the protection of persons and property and the prevention and detection of crime, whereby the processing of visitor data is based on a legitimate process. Video surveillance records are deleted within 90 days.
Visitors can use the Wi-Fi network in Omega’s office premises by providing a password that can be renewed as needed. Access to the Wi-Fi network does not require disclosure of personal information. Omega has no control over and is not responsible for the use of the Internet while you are on our premises, but provides free Internet access.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
When required by applicable regulations, you have the following rights:
- Access your data that we process and find out the origin of the data, purposes of processing and the period for which your data is processed, who are the data controllers and executors of the processing of your data, and to whom your personal data can be provided;
- Withdraw your consent at any time, when the processing of your data is based on the given consent;
- Update or correct your personal information so that it is always accurate;
- Delete your data from our records if their processing is no longer necessary for the above purposes;
- Limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances;
- Obtain your data in electronic form; and
- File a complaint with us and/or the authority responsible for the protection of personal data.

HOW YOU CAN OBJECT IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA
When permitted by applicable regulations, you have the right to object to the processing of your data or to request that we stop processing your data (including processing for direct marketing).
After you notify us of this request, we will no longer process your data, unless this is prescribed by certain regulations.
You can exercise this in the same way specified for the exercise of your other rights specified in the text above.
HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA
Your data, collected and stored in our database based on your consent, will be stored in our database for the time specified in the consent. Regarding the processing of your data that is not subject to your consent, we process that data for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose specified in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period for the processing of such personal data is permitted by law.
